Geothermal Heat Pump Benefits
How Geothermal Heat Pumps Work
During the hot summer days, the unit extracts heat from your home or business and transfers it back to the circulation liquid in the underground loop system, where it is transferred into the cooler earth.
During the cold winter days, the liquid that circulates through the underground loop system is able to absorb the heat from the Earth and carries it to the geothermal unit which extracts the heat. It is able to enhance the heat to a higher temperature and dispenses it throughout your house or business.
Another source of energy is in groundwater. At 30 ft. deep, groundwater remains at a consistent temperature that stays within a single degree year round. It may be utilized in lieu of an underground loop system.
